Beauty and Design expert Ana Olsen of TheHomeDesignCo.com had some interesting things to say about Inked Ritual™ Tattoo Care. Read below to hear her own Inked Ritual story.

Here's what she had to say about her tattoos:
"My first tattoo is almost twenty years old, and back then tattoo care was never really discussed, nor was it all that important. Especially for me, as I foolishly assumed that my tattoos would look good forever. Well, that all changed after getting some new ink several years later. I could not believe just how bad my first tattoo looked compared to my fresh ink. I discussed this with the tattoo artist, and she was a preacher when it came to long-term tattoo care. She suggested several products and gave me very strict aftercare instructions, which I followed to a tee.
Years later, older and wiser I'm now dedicated to protecting my tattoos and understand the importance of long-term tattoo care and proper tattoo healing. I have tried numerous tattoo aftercare products, some good and some not so good."
Let's start with the good ones. Well, they seemed to heal my tattoos with ease, but some of them were greasy, oily, and smelled. I really had nothing to compare them with and I just assumed that the greasiness and oiliness were just part of the process. So after getting lint, dog hair, and other goodies stuck on my skin including my bedsheets, I started to look for something else to use.
And then this led me to the products that claimed to be non-oily non-greasy. Truth be told, they were still somewhat greasy and took forever to rub in and absorb into my skin. And the smell? Oh my, I don't like wearing anything that smells. But the biggest concern for me from these products, was that when I did some solid research into the ingredients, and I learned that they contained ingredients that can smother the skin and trap moisture and not let your skin breathe."
"This year I got another tattoo and I asked my artist if she could suggest any new tattoo care products. She recommended a new product she'd been using but sold out of the day before called 'Inked Ritual.' So I ordered it online not thinking too much about it."

"It arrived super quick, and my co-worker and fellow Home Design Co. editor and health & beauty expert Chantelle was the first one to see it on my desk. When I arrived back in the office from lunch, she was so excited to show me, but I couldn't understand what all the excitement was about. It was just your standard, greasy tattoo moisturizer in an ugly bottle, right? Wrong!
We started to read the ingredients on the back of the tube, she said this stuff was loaded with peptides, hyaluronic acid, echinacea, dragon fruit, amino acids, Norwegian kelp, red algae, marshmallow root, green tea extract, apple stem cells, aloe vera, Chinese cucumber, witch hazel, vitamins A, C & E. But what does all that mean I asked?
'It's like a high-end anti-aging serum'. She said."
